MATR Data Stewardship Principles

Trust begins with transparency.

MATR exists to help people and teams build trust and that starts with how we handle data.

We believe data should empower humans, not exploit them. Every conversation, insight, and metric in MATR is treated as part of that trust contract.

Our guiding principles are simple: ownership, privacy, transparency, and purpose.

1. You Own Your Data

  • All data collected through MATR including surveys, recordings, and conversational insights belongs to the organization and its participants.

  • We will never sell, share, or use your data for external advertising, profiling, or third-party monetization.

  • Participants can request access or deletion of their personal data at any time.

2. Human-Centered by Design

  • MATR analyzes only what’s necessary to improve relationships and performance, never to monitor, rank, or punish.

  • Individual metrics remain confidential; insights are aggregated at the team or cohort level to preserve privacy.

  • AI models are used to surface patterns and opportunities, not to evaluate individuals.

3. Transparent Processing

  • Every data touchpoint — from consent forms to feedback loops — is disclosed clearly and in plain language.

  • Organizations receive visibility into what data is captured, how it’s processed, and how it informs their Trust Index.

  • MATR’s models and metrics are designed for interpretability — we believe clarity builds credibility.

4. Purpose-Built Data Use

  • MATR only collects and processes data that directly supports trust measurement, engagement insights, and leadership development.

  • We do not harvest passive data or scrape communication tools.

  • Each data collection has a defined purpose, a measurable outcome, and an expiration date.

5. Security & Compliance

  • MATR adheres to industry standards for encryption, secure data storage, and regional compliance (GDPR, CCPA).

  • Access to raw data is limited to authorized personnel under strict confidentiality protocols.

  • We regularly audit data handling practices to ensure integrity and compliance.

6. Consent & Control

  • Participation in MATR programs is opt-in. Every user controls their own data visibility and sharing preferences.

  • Organizations may view aggregate results, but never individual-level data without explicit consent.

  • Participants can export, review, or delete their data through a simple request process.

7. Responsible AI

  • MATR uses AI to enhance human understanding — not replace it.

  • Our models are continuously reviewed to reduce bias, ensure fairness, and maintain interpretability.

  • We believe in explainable AI, where participants can understand why a recommendation or insight appears.

Our Promise

MATR’s mission is to make trust measurable, actionable, and regenerative — and that begins with how we steward data.

Every piece of information we touch is treated with the same respect and integrity we aim to build within teams themselves.

Trust is our product. Stewardship is our practice.
